There are lots of pills and supplements that promise the world, but do they deliver? I obviously haven’t tried all of them or even any of them. I try to stay away from things that can compromise my health, but by keep those “extra pounds” I am also compromising my health. I knew a girl, years ago that actually was the lady that did my nails. She was always complaining about her weight even thought she wasn’t considered over weight by doctors standards.
It also didn’t help that looks were a big part of her job and that she had younger sisters that were tiny. She started taking some pills and combine that with a serious diet coke addition and she ended up with a stroke. I know today’s products are better than that and they do serious testing. But most are not FDA approved and so I feel sometimes it is a bit of a crap shoot as to what you are really putting into your body. Not that sometimes I would much rather take a pill rather than do one more minute of cardio or weights. Or take that pill so that I can eat that dessert once in a while. That would be great. But for right now I think I will just keep plugging away the totally safe way.
